Since 2020, Laura Castañeda has served as a member of the Editorial Board at San Diego’s daily newspaper, where she interviews decision-makers, leads a team of editorial staff and boosts audience engagement.
Along with managing a pilot community voices project with 80 writers, writing monthly opinion pieces, and participating in political endorsement interviews, Laura also brought her video production skills to the newspaper, contributing regularly to the Emmy-winning bilingual show Nuestra Voz Today.
